Mountains, inc. is a small independent company founded with the simple aim of creating quality holidays with attention to detail. We own and run everything ourselves and take pride in ensuring that your holiday runs smoothly and enjoyably. Because it is a small operation we can be flexible to meet your needs: our biggest concern is that you have a fabulous time.

Our beautiful chalet is in the international ski resort of La Plagne - Paradiski, in the French Alps. We are nestled beneath Montchavin, one of La Plagne's 10 resort villages, which has excellent lifts and facilities and which is also a traditional Savoyard village with atmosphere and charm. The lift link between La Plagne and Les Arcs opened in December 2003 creating the huge integrated skiing area of Paradiski. Montchavin is right at its heart.

Whether you are a keen skier who likes to be out on the slopes from the time the first lift opens until the last lift closes, or you prefer to just relax and enjoy some time in beautiful surroundings, then you are in the right place.

An unforgettable holiday

La Plagne's 220 kilometres of pisted runs will keep the keenest skier interested however long their stay or frequent their visits; and the excellent off piste skiing and cross country runs offer more for the bold. The link to Les Arcs has opened up a whole new valley and more than doubles your snow park. Andy, your general host, will be pleased to come out with you and show you some interesting routes or simply provide you with a map and let you discover them yourself.

If skiing all day every day isn't your cup of tea, the chalet is the perfect place to unwind with a magazine or a book borrowed from our personal library, curled up on a sofa; or to lounge on the balcony admiring the views of the distant Mont Blanc. You need do nothing more strenuous than reach out to change the CD, until your exhausted companions arrive back to join you for afternoon tea and cakes.

If the urge to stretch your legs a little further strikes you, take the lifts up through the wooded slopes and enjoy the scenery from the terrace of a mountain restaurant. Sip hot chocolate or mulled wine and watch the world ski past.
